Why ExWeb Exists
Many valuable things already exist throughout our communities—independent stores, specialized products, knowledgeable owners, useful services, and meaningful local stories.
Yet much of this remains difficult to see online.
The name exweb comes from the idea of expanding the web: helping real-world businesses and community resources become more visible, discoverable, and connected.
We are starting with independent local stores because shoppers should not have to choose between the convenience of online search and the value of supporting their community.
